Silver Gypsy specializes in quality, unique handcrafted jewellery made locally in Perth Western Australia by self taught artist, Darcy York.
I have over 10 years of experience working with glass/lampwork beads, silver wire, silver findings and charms, swarovski crystals and gemstones which are extensively used in all the one-of-a-kind jewellery pieces.
My handcrafted jewellery pieces are all unique and original with an emphasis on making sure that it is affordable for all women to offer them something to make them feel special.
Each piece is unique and although some pieces are similar in style no piece is identical.
The jewellery range includes many different exquisite styles in necklaces, bracelets/cuffs, earrings, pendants and pins. The detail and attention to quality is never compromised in ensuring each piece, as it is created, is completed to a high standard. During the last year I have also added the unique quality of handmade one of a kind lampwork glass beads and sculptures that I create myself. The quality materials used are sourced from Australia and all over the world.
I also have a passion for gemstones and pride myself in the understanding of the "Metaphysical Properties” of the gemstones that are also a major part of a lot of the pieces. Gemstones add an extra dimension and personal touch to my pieces. Whether it is a healing or the good luck property of the gemstones used, everyone can and will benefit from the addition of gemstones to the jewellery.
